Philip Clay Designs is run by husband and wife team, Philip and Keighley. They create high-end architectural joinery, fitted cabinetry and free standing bespoke furniture including kitchens, libraries, fitted wardrobes, bars, bookcases and side boards. Working with the client or alongside interior designers, offering them a variety of finishes, techniques and materials to inspire and enhance their designs.
Philip first met Keighley at school, she studied Fashion Print at Central St. Martins then worked as a print designer at Liberty London, designing for both fashion and interiors, with a further stint at Cath Kidston as a print consultant.
Meanwhile, Philip studied Fine Craft where his love for furniture making and cabinetry blossomed. When Philip finished his degree he set up the furniture making business. The couple recently made the decision to bring Keighley on board full time so they could continue to develop the business together.
They are now combining both their passions by launching a high-end furniture range which will include upholstered pieces, fabrics, cushions and wallpaper which they are incredibly excited to work so closely together on.
